You will serve as a SUPERVISOR in the IPS AND RELIABILITY ENGINEERING, 45000 of NAVWARSYSCEN ATLANTIC CHARLESTON SC.
Duties
You will and provide oversight for the acquisition and lifecycle logistician's assigned to the Competency.
You will be responsible for leading the development and management of a skilled workforce to include human capital strategies, competency development, human resources forecasting, performance management and employee retention.
You will manage the IPT customer relationship to include identification of customer needs, resourcing planning and allocation, service delivery, and facilitation of customer outcomes.
You will apply knowledge of (12) Integrated Product Support Elements and their relationship to each other, the acquisition process and to related functions such as standardization, configuration management, risk management and systems engineering.
You will apply knowledge in the principles, applications and requirements used for logistics planning; how to define and measure logistics program requirements and develop performance based logistics requirements and performance based agreements.
You will apply knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methods and techniques to plan and conduct independent program studies, analyze data, develop alternatives, and make recommendations to resolve logistics related programmatic issues.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing lead or supervisory logistics planning duties. Qualifying experience may include resourcing planning and allocation; resolving logistics related programmatic issues; providing instruction to employees on work and administrative matters.
