You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Maritime Support/Readiness Division under the Maritime Customer Operations Department within the Fleet Allowance, Outfitting, and Customer Operations of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.
Duties
You will serve as the primary representative for all Maritime Retail allowancing and Readiness Based sparing (RBS) issues.
You will recommend and implement new program and policy initiatives and changes.
You will advise higher level authority by oral or written communications when adjustments are needed.
You will analyze and evaluate critical data such as demand, rates, pricing, and addback data used in the development of each retail allowance product.
You will be responsible for RBS allowance computation models, methods, and IT tools.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing Program Analyst work. I am able to communicate well both orally and in writing. Specialized experience will include most or all of the following duties: 1) Developing, analyzing, interpreting and evaluating directives relative to RS, ERP, configuration data management programs, and allowance computation programs to determine the impact on current policies, programs, and procedures; 2) Analyzing computational models for Maritime Readiness Based Sparing (RBS) and Demand Based Allowances; 3) Recommending/implementing new, significant program and policy initiatives, changes, and actions; 4) Solving problems and creating long range solutions; 5) Leading research and development to identify new initiatives, concepts, studies, practices, techniques, and systems designed to enhance current configuration and allowance processes; and 6) Providing higher level management briefs and presentations on issues involving Configuration Management parameters and Allowance Computation models.
