About the Position: Located in central New Jersey, Burlington County, Fort Dix is 72 miles southwest of New York City, 34 miles northeast of Philadelphia. Close to the Jersey shore, Fort Dix is also within short driving distance of a wide variety of leisure activities, cultural centers, museums, historical locations, fishing, hunting, boating, skiing, snowboarding, hiking locations, etc.

Duties

Plan, manage, and execute the strategic planning integration functions for the installation. Conduct working group meetings and prepare Installation Status Reports (ISRs) to advise on the performance of Common Level of Support services and supporting action plans. Serve as advisor to installation staff on key installation functions supporting the installation strategic plan. Distribute command policy and guidance on the strategic planning process. Advise on implementation of new ideas, procedures, processes, methods or approaches in areas of productivity, quality management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Oral CommunicationPlanning and EvaluatingTechnical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
