You will serve as a HOUSING MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT in the HOUSING DEPARTMENT of MCAS CHERRY POINT.

Duties
You will plan, organize and perform work required to ensure proper customer service and compliance with appropriate mandates of the Housing Program.
You will receive and process complaints and related investigations concerning residents to leadership.
You will participate in regular or periodic deficiency reviews, assemble facts, evaluate information, prepare draft reports and answer to correspondence, coordinate findings with other team members, and develop recommendations for improvement.
You will process requests for permanent and temporary quarters.
You will monitor maintenance, property management and service contracts.
You will conduct joint tenant-management walk-throughs of quarters to evaluate the cleanliness, maintenance, and habitability of the unit, furnishings, equipment and facilities.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- You will be required to maintain a current valid United States driver?s license.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: housing management functions; repair and improvement practices.
