About the Position: The Anniston Army Depot is located in Anniston, Alabama in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain chain halfway between Atlanta, GA and Birmingham, AL just off Interstate 20. The Depot is the largest employer in Calhoun County with approximately 4000 employees.
Duties
Recommends process changes to correct and improve product quality and customer satisfaction.
Implements the Customer Satisfaction, Lean, or Six Sigma Program, which is of critical importance to the success of the core missions of the Anniston Army Depot.
Review prep work, work in progress, and final work for completeness and accuracy on all events/projects.
Maintains and coordinates events and briefs supervisor for recommendations and status.
Organizes, coordinates, and meets with various teams to implement plans.
Serves as project officer of ad hoc teams to implement special projects to include preliminary research and fact-finding, gathers and compiles pertinent data, develops plans, surveys, spreadsheets, and reports for the directorate and Command Group.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes managing the Customer Satisfaction Program, LEAN Program, or Six Sigma Program. Exercises responsibility for the establishment, maintenance, operation, and surveillance of assigned program. A complete knowledge and skill in quality and manufacturing is applied towards continuously improving the effectiveness of production operation, a multi-mission (manufacturing, logistics, assembly, rebuild, maintenance) industrial complex. Representative at conferences and meetings and make commitments as needed.
