You will serve as a Management Analyst in the Installation and Logistics Division of MARCORPS NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION

Duties

You will apply your knowledge of the Marine Corps Planning Process to develop Planning Orders, Operations Orders, and Letters of Instruction to implement installation actions and planning guidance. You will analyze emerging concepts, novel methods of operation, and installation related special projects in order to refine concepts, develop courses of action, and generate Plans of Action and Milestones (POAM) to implement actions. You will review and analyze existing installation related orders to simplify and clarify the missions, tasks, and lines of command and control across installation matters. You will conduct analysis of requirements for strategic, operational and contingency planning. You will develop and implement detailed strategic plans and concepts for the command. You will provide input to, and assist in the coordination of the command's strategic-level planning efforts.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate most or all of the following duties: 1) Conducting installation related strategic planning; 2) Analyzing emerging concepts; 3) Coordinating strategic-level planning projects, efforts and initiatives; and 4) Generating plans of actions.
