You will serve as a Special Projects Program Manager in the Infrastructure Division, Corporate Operations Department of CARDEROCK DIV NS, located in West Bethesda, MD.
Duties
You will serve as the lead for the alignment and integration of management processes for Facilities Engineering Special Projects at NSWCCD West Bethesda and detachment sites.
You will establish programmatic controls for the execution of a select set of infrastructure improvement projects that are of the highest profile/highest mission impact to the Command.
You will oversee unique programs and individual projects that require funding from multiple unique funding sources.
You will lead the integration, coordination needs, and metrics generation for future deliverables from experts in: facility engineering disciplines, security, IT/Communications, and integrated furniture system logistics.
You will align functions for activities associated with: unique budgeting, requirements generation, planning, funds monitoring and reporting, design engineering, construction, follow-on outfitting, and facility turnover.
You will establish procedures to manage critical timelines and funding associated with major construction and repair activities from project inception through facility turnover.
You will develop new programmatic and project related process and progress status reports as well as coordinate closely with various levels of leadership from multiple Divisions.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying facilities management processes to lead programs or projects related to facility repair and construction.
