Duties
As a senior Grants Management Specialist , the incumbent is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the Bureau grants management and administration operations, which involves:
Requirements
- US Citizenship.
- Suitable for employment as determined by a background investigation.
- Serve a probationary period, if applicable.
- Males born after 12/31/59 must be registered with Selective Service.
- Current Federal Employees Must Submit SF-50 which demonstrates grade.
- FCC EMPLOYEES MUST provide a legible Personnel Action, SF-50.
Qualifications
Applicants must meet eligibility and qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Current Federal employees must meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
GS-13
Candidates applying for the GS-1109-13 Grant Management Specialist position must demonstrate one year of specialized experience which is equivalent to the GS-12 grade level. Specialized experience includes:
Experience applying laws, Federal Regulations, policies and procedures relating to grants administration.
Experience independently planning, designing, and carrying out federal grants administration functions, projects, mandates.
Experience providing post-award programmatic and financial federal grants administration development oversight, and execution.
Experience serving as a warranted Grant Officer.
Experience resolving or developing new guidelines or processes related to Grants Management.
Experience interpreting technical, legal, and regulatory requirements and audit decisions.
GS-14
Candidates applying for the GS-1109-14 Grant Management Specialist position must demonstrate one year of specialized experience which is equivalent to the GS-13 grade level. Specialized experience includes:
Experience applying laws, Federal Regulations, policies and procedures relating to grants administration.
Experience independently planning, designing, and carrying out federal grants administration functions, projects, mandates.
Experience providing post-award programmatic and financial federal grants administration development oversight, and execution.
Experience serving as a warranted Grant Officer.
Experience resolving and/or developing new guidelines or processes related to Grants Management.
Experience interpreting technical, legal, and regulatory requirements and audit decisions.
Experience developing new or improved grants management methods based on lessons learned and/or stakeholder feedback.
