Duties

Conduct reviews and analysis of health care delivery processes, in the non-DoD sector and in the DoD direct care and purchased care systems. Assist in the identification, analysis, evaluation, and monitoring of Virtual Health performance improvement opportunities under the MHS optimization programs. Apply statistical and/or operational analysis techniques to make recommendations to leadership. Independently accomplishes assignments in accordance with established policies, procedures and precedents. Determine data and information requirements, performs complex data extraction/data set merges, and establishes performance thresholds for specific initiatives. Perform, lead, and assist other employees in collecting and evaluating clinical quality, health care cost, workload, population, and utilization data from various medical and non-medical information systems.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.

For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
