You will serve as a MANAGEEMENT PROGRAM ANALYST in the Infrastructure, Safety & Environmental Dept. of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Duties

You will develop and analyze business and technical proposals and leads studies addressing modifications to NAWCAD facilities structure. You will analyze plans and proposals submitted by management to modify or initiate new NAWCAD facilities programs/projects. You will conduct research and performs analyses on various aspects and phases of facility programs and projects. You will acquire necessary data/information; researching and preparing the analysis; and communicating the findings to various levels of management. You will identify actual or potential problem areas, develops and defends solutions to identified problems.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.) Knowledge of business, financial and facilities, laws, policies, regulations, and precedents and an extensive knowledge of NAWCAD operating programs and the interrelationships among such programs to perform program/competency analysis by developing and evaluating the effectiveness of new or modified program/competency objectives and operations. 2.) Knowledge of program/competency management policies, concepts, practices, and principles in order to analyze and develop and implement recommendations for improvement in program/competency operations and objectives. 3.) Knowledge of and extensive experience in the business, financial, and facilities application, operation, and maintenance of Research and Engineering facilities (including research laboratories, T&E facilities, Production facilities and In-service Engineering facilities) in support of aircraft weapon systems Acquisition, RDT&E, and Life cycle functions.
