About the Position: This position is located within the Human Resources Department, Directorate for Administration at Naval Hospital Bremerton. Office is located within the civilian Human Resources Department. Working hours are Monday-Friday, 0800-1600.

Duties
The incumbent will serve as advisor to management on the evaluation of the effectiveness of command government programs and operations.
Process local directives/instructions including annual reviews, updates, new directives/instructions, routing and tracking to insure the proper routing and approval.
Advise command leadership on shortfalls in training, materials and program compliance.
Manage, review, create and update all local forms, insuring they are in compliance with both Defense Health Agency and Naval regulations.
Utilize Microsoft Word Perfect and database software programs to create correspondence.
Manage the command?s non-medical record management program, including the implementation and annual review of all necessary file plans.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance (Tier 3) or access for the duration of employment.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
- Employees assigned to a medical treatment facility are required to be screened for applicable immunizations.

In order to qualify, you must meet the Education and /or Experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: demonstrated experience applying conventional methods to gather, analyze, and evaluate information concerning management processes, draw conclusions, and recommend appropriate action; skill in conducting interviews with supervisors and employees to obtain information about organizational missions, functions, and work procedures; preparing reports or presentations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).

Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as:

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
