Duties
You will serves as the NSWCPD HM and E Lead Representative and technical advisor on staff at COMSUBLANT and provides direct liaison between COMSUBLANT, NSWCPD, and NAVSEA to support resolution of technical, logistics and fleet issues.
You will function as the overall program manager focused on all aspects of submarine and submarine support craft HM and E Machinery fleet support management.
You will be responsible to the Branch Head, in Code 241, for the management, coordination, and integration of tasks, progress tracking, and direct reporting to COMSUBLANT customers.
You will serve as the principal point of contact and coordinator with administrative, financial, budget, contracts, and technical and fleet personnel for modernization and repair programs as well as urgent issues.
You will be responsible for task development, planning, budgeting, funding, task management, deliverable tracking, contract monitoring and negotiations, scheduling, preparation, manning, coordination and oversite of submarine issues.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing and evaluating technical project requirements to develop, plan and implement project schedule, milestones and deliverables to ensure the execution of mission objectives in support of a submarine or submarine support craft modernization or readiness program.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
