You will serve as a Program Analyst of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

Duties

You will develop and install new or modified concepts, to fill policy and procedural voids, and to eliminate operational inconsistencies. You will coordinate with representatives of other organizations concerning precedent setting, controversial, sensitive and/or complex issues and their relationships to other supply management functions, processes and organizations. You will be directed to gather, analyze, and provide performance metrics to the Director providing visual displays, simulations, pilots and process flow analysis. You will represents the organization in the investigation, identification and analysis of policy/procedural issues and in the planning, development and implementation of remedial actions.

Qualifications

I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing most of the following duties: 1) Coordinating with management and representatives concerning sensitive and/or complex issues and their relationships to other supply management functions, processes and organizations; 2) Developing and leading special automation projects focused on resolution of the most complex or unique supply system problems; 3) Oversee the operations and policy for managing processes for logistics, transportation, packaging, kitting, and warehousing of Navy materials; 4) Performing various staff administrative functions, such as: representing the department in matters pertaining to workload, staffing, and with various consultants/study groups reviewing NAVSUP WSS operations, maintaining department staffing policies, and coordinating department workload reviews.
