Duties
Serves as a senior human resources operations and integration advisor to the Chief, Integration and Transformation Division, Human Capital Directorate (HCD), U.S. Army Futures Command (AFC).
Provides oversight in the development and implementation of personnel operations, procedures, programs and systems designed to facilitate mission accomplishment and enhance organizational learning and performance.
Oversees the development, implementation and evaluation of a comprehensive program of training and development that includes a variety of sources, instructional methods, and media.
Develops, coordinates, staffs, and implements standard operation policies, operating procedures and information papers to meet the guidelines provided by the Chief.
Supports the civilian and military human resources programs through coordination and integration with the Human Capital subordinate supervisors.
Develops goals and objectives for subordinate divisions and branches; provides input to multi-year and long range work operational plans developed by division and branch chiefs.
Develops and implements internal operational procedures for the management and control of staff actions/documents emanating within or being processed through the Human Capital Directorate.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Secret Clearance required
- 1 year probationary period may be required.
- TDY of up to 15% may be required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes:1) Providing human capital operational staff services to complex organizations which have challenging human resource issues and programs; 2) Developing/recommending solutions to operational problems that have significant impact on human capital programs and initiatives; AND 3) Utilizing Operational planning expertise facilitating improvements in the accomplishment of human capital missions and leadership decision-making capabilities.. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
