About the Position: This position is located at Evans Army Community Hospital, Human Resources Department, Military Human Resources Branch, Fort Carson, Colorado.

Duties

Provides guidance and direction to subordinate medical units and deploying medical personnel on matters concerning overall Army Medical Department (AMEDD) mobilization and deployment planning. Reviews and analyzes planning documents and programs of higher headquarters to assure hospital is in compliance with medical mobilization and deployment requirements. Works as a Individual Mobilization Augmentee (IMA) and National Guard and Reserve Liaison. Coordinates the replacement of critical Area of Concentration (AOC) personnel who have been lost due to PCS or retirement.

• This is an Inclement Weather Essential position; you must make every attempt to report for work on time and/or remain on duty during severe weather conditions

OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Political/Military Science, Emergency Management. or Operation Management. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
