Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources Management or a related field appropriate to the work of the position AND four years of managerial/supervisory human resources experiences that provides an in-depth knowledge of laws, policies, regulations and procedures related to personnel management, which demonstrates an ability to plan, organize, and manage a comprehensive human resources program operation, OR an appropriate combination of education and experience that demonstrates possession of knowledge and skills equivalent to that gained in the above, OR appropriate experience, preferably with NAF personnel, that demonstrates that the applicant has acquired the knowledge, skills, and abilities equivalent to that gained in the above.  Must have in depth knowledge of overall personnel management practices.  Must have the ability to plan, organize, and implement new or improved procedures, work methods, or objectives.  Must have effective writing and oral presentation skills and ability to communicate with all levels.  This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs may be required.Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Tier 5 – Top Secret clearance.
