You will serve as a Management and Program Analyst in the Records Management Branch, Information Services Division, Executive Support Office, of PSNS and IMF.
Duties
You will serve as a subject matter expert of one or more of the command document control programs.
You will use a wide variety of fact-finding and analysis techniques to research and develop resolutions to identified program or project concerns or problems.
You will conduct research, special studies and program self-assessments, to identify inefficiencies and develop recommendations for improvements.
You will review and interpret new and established directives, instructions, regulations, etc., for potential impact on program objectives, operating policies, work operations, and processes.
You will prepare written reports of findings and plans of action to implement solutions for identified problems.
You will establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers to resolve problems and provide advice and assistance on routine matters.

- Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.
Qualifications
For the GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and evaluating document control systems or programs (e.g. directives, correspondence, forms, mail, library, records management), in an industrial setting, to identify and resolve issues or concerns.
For the GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and evaluating document control systems or programs (e.g. directives, correspondence, forms, mail, library, records management), in an industrial setting, to identify and resolve issues or concerns.

Education
Education may be substituted for experience as follows:
For the GS-11:
Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; or
Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree; or
Successful completion of an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled; or
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience must equal one hundred percent.
For the GS-09:
Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree; or
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher graduate level education leading to a master's degree; or
An LL.B. or J.D. that is related to the position being filled; or
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience must equal one hundred percent
