You will serve as an INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) of the NAVFAC Information Technology Center (NITC) of the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC).
Duties
You will review cyber security programs for compliance with cyber security inspections.
You will monitor progress of information technology (IT) projects to ensure timelines are met.
You will lead risk analysis projects to identify areas of information systems compromise.
You will audit information technology (IT) systems development to confirm laws and regulations are followed.
You will evaluate evolving information technology (IT) to determine the impact on current operations, material requirements, and plans.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
This position has been designated as a Cyber Workforce position in the DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) primary role of (722 Information Systems Security Manager) proficiency level intermediate and, as a condition of employment, the incumbent of the position is required to maintain qualifications in accordance with DON Cyber Workforce Program requirements of SECNAV M-5239.2."
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Leading major agency-wide Cyber Security efforts to include Risk Management Framework (RMF), Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG's) compliance, and the management of NIST Security Controls throughout an organization; 2) Using Cyber Security project management principles and methods sufficient to plan and carry out difficult and complex assignments and develop new methods, approaches and procedures; 3) Establishing, implementing, and interpreting the requirements for agency compliance with higher level policy directives and Executive orders governing infrastructure protection; and 4) Leading the implementation of Cyber Security programs designed to anticipate, assess, and minimize system vulnerabilities.
