About the Position: Serves as a training specialist responsible for supporting development and delivery of a variety of instructional technology and distributed learning training products and overseeing other training technicians involved in the production of multimedia training, located at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

Duties

Perform development work in multimedia development, web-based training to including on-line testing, the distribution of training certificates, and other areas of distributed learning, such as streaming video and video tele-training technologies. Develop multimedia products to include multimedia assets, videotape productions, graphics layouts and physical production, presentation graphics support, as well as interactive e-Brochures, and technology enhanced training packages. Serve as a satellite and tele-training operator and facilitator to include scheduling and class course changes, equipment setup and troubleshooting. Research and review new technology and apply it to projects to keep customer's image on the leading edge utilizing state-of-the-art equipment, media, software, and devices.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Education, or a related field of study. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
