About the Position: This position is located at 407th Army Field Support Brigade, Logistics Readiness Center, Personnel Services Branch, Personnel Property Section in Fort Cavazos, Texas.
This is a Term position NTE 1 year, 1 day. Term positions may be extended up to a maximum of six years without further competition. For more on term appointments see additional information.
This position is obligated. An obligated position is one to which an employee has statutory restoration return rights.
Duties
Coordinate storage and/or delivery of personal property to comply with established guidelines and/or procedures.
Screen orders for correct funding appropriation, citation, entitlements, and/or authorization for shipment.
Prepare transportation documents, such as Government Bills of Lading (GBL), to support the movement of personal property.
Record pre-approved accessorial services in the Central Web Application (CWA) system to approve the use of crating large or specialized items for moves.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes determining and advising on transportation and/or personal property entitlements, such as: shipment storage of household goods, unaccompanied baggage, reviewing orders for entitlements, claims, and/or protection of personal property. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
