About the Position: This position supports the mission of the Assistant Director for Healthcare Administration through Health Informatics Directorate, Technology, Management, and Integration Division of the Defense Health Agency and it is located in Falls Church, Virginia.

Duties
Serve as Revenue Cycle and appointing and registration advisor for workflow assessment, strategic integration, evaluation, and optimization of business processes as part of the efforts of DHA.
Provide professional and technical expertise, proficiency, guidance, oversight, and organizational skills in support of Technology, Management, and Integration (TMI).
Conduct analyses in support of clinical and business workflow processes and continuous improvement and recommends the planning for initial corrective courses of actions regarding appointing and registration policies and procedures.
Analyze on-going initiatives to ensure duplication of recommended solutions for procurement is prevented.
Through facilitation, assist customers in the design of workflows by using supporting software solutions such as Integration Definition (IDEF).
Utilize technical skills to support strong informatics capabilities throughout the enterprise, initiating timeline check-ins with site integrators to address system adoption and issue resolution.

- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of
employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) conducting analysis of workflow processes, 2) assisting in the integration of healthcare processes or programs, AND 3) facilitating business planning meetings. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
