Duties
You will serve as a consultant to management on all recruitment, placement, and pay setting actions.
You will provide input to serviced organizations for short and long-range analysis of civilian personnel staffing requirements and resolution.
You will develop, modify, and/or conduct basic and/or refresher training on personnel staffing policies and procedures.
You will apply a wide range of Human Resources laws, regulations and policies to perform a full variety of recruitment needs of organizations serviced.
You will provide recruitment and staffing services and resolves problems for organizations characterized by various positions (e.g. professional, administrative, or technical fields of work).
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Qualifications
GS-09
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-7 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Preparing and presenting findings and recommendation.
Applying policies and regulations to various HR policies, practices, and procedures
Applying pay setting policies to set pay for various personnel actions.
Utilizing computer software such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.

Education
GS-09:Successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree;
OR
Have successfully completed two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree.
OR
Have obtained an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to the position being filled;
OR you have a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
FOR
GS-07:
SUCCESSFUL completion of one full year of graduate level education OR you have successfully completed a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement OR you have a combination of education and experience that equates to one year of experience.
