Duties

As project leader is accountable for the quality and quantity of assigned projects assuring efficient and economical work operations. Reviews comments and recommended changes to training support concepts. Researches and develops methods and approaches to develop and review/revise complete training products. Directs or develops individual training material and publications, to include Tasks, Lesson Plans, Training Support Packages, Course Management Plans, Individual Training Plans, Soldier Training Publications, and GTAs,). Performs liaison and coordination tasks: Coordinates with a variety of military and civilian subject matter experts, analysts, and instructional systems specialists Performs liaison and coordination tasks and Provides technical guidance and assistance. Serves as project leader in training concepts validations. Responsible for development of individual and self-development training initiative performance standards for Civil Affairs training.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • May be required to travel TDY up to 5%.
  • One-year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • Field training sites are conducted in all types of weather and both daylight and darkness. Some training sites are unimproved with no flush toilets available. Work may necessitate incumbent to wear clothes appropriate for field training.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Attention to DetailCurriculum DevelopmentTechnical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
