You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (OPERATING SYSTEMS) in the Information Technology Services Division of NAVAL ACADEMY.
Duties
You will manage and supervise complex custom information technology design, development, modification and support of educational, professional, and administrative services.
You will originate technical approaches for advanced automation concepts and provides users detailed system analysis, design and requirements for technical solutions based on these concepts.
You will coordinate and provide technical guidance, project management and support to the employees engaged in development of software and hardware to ensure system integrity and compatibility with other support activities.
You will manage projects including development of a project plan that includes a plan of action and milestones, coordination and integration efforts for accomplishing the project with other projects underway, and compilation of lessons learned.
You will design and develop custom ERP solutions using declarative and custom coding methods using Salesforce APEX, Lightning Web Components and SOQL on the Salesforce Platform.
You will Design and develop custom ERP solutions using Salesforce declarative methods.
You will design and develop ETL process to move large quantities of data utilizing different data models including creating fields mappings and jobs to move data from disparate systems.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing IT projects on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems in a college/university environment; 2) Analyzing users system for effectiveness and efficiency; 3) Incorporating information security assurance policies, principles and practices to IT processes; and 4) Recommending improvements to management on IT programs and services which support a higher education mission. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
