You will serve as a COMMAND EVALUATOR in the OFFICE OF THE COMMANDING OFFICER, COMMAND EVALUATION STAFF of NAVOCEANO BAY ST LOUIS.
Duties
You will implement and maintain the Command Evaluation Program directing the performance of special studies, surveys, analyses and investigations.
You will prove recommendations to correct troublesome and unsatisfactory policies, practices, procedures, record, systems, statements and reports.
You will assess critical organizational climate dimensions that can impact the organization's readiness to perform mission.
You will implement and maintain NAVOCEANO's Integrated Risk Management (IRM) plan by managing the Internal Control Program.
You will monitor the correction of deficiencies that are revealed by surveys, reports from the Naval Audit Service, Naval Criminal Investigative Service and other external reports, analyses or observations.
You will provide advice and assistance on new and unprecedented problem and serve as continuing source of reference in interpreting policies, regulation and requirements in all financial and resources management areas.
You will evaluate major, administrative aspects of substantive, mission-oriented programs and develop long-range plans, goals, objectives, and milestones, to determine the effectiveness of programs conducted thought NAVOCEANO.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience with analytical and evaluative methods and applying appropriate program evaluation and measurement techniques.
Experience in applying a wide range of methods used to gather, analyze, and evaluate information concerning management processes, draw conclusions, and recommend appropriate action.
Experience of the policies and practices of supervision and personnel management to motivate, train and work effectively with subordinates.
Experience of laws, regulations, Comptroller General Decisions and General Accounting Office systems and procedures, budget procedures, disbursing systems, contractual and reimbursable financial programs.
Experience of policies and practices of Operational Risk Management (ORM), DoD and, DON ORM policies or similar.
