The Workplace & Collaboration Services (WCS), Office of Collaboration is seeking candidates to serve as a O365 Solutions Lead and Video Teleconferencing Services (ViTS) Conference Room Lead. The positions will serve as an advisor and provide management, implementation, and oversight of agency services for a portfolio of enterprise Information Technology (IT) such as the O365 ecosystems (Teams, Exchange, OneDrive, etc.) or testing/coordinating conference technologies and operations for end users.

Duties

Duties described below are at the full-performance level. Duties assigned at a lower grade level will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity; duties will be commensurate with the grade of selected employee. Lead or assist with all aspects of management of IT service offerings, including formulation, customer requirements, implementation, integration and evaluation. Integrates local Center and Mission requirements into an enterprise managed service. Lead a distributed team and coordinates activities across the agency, multiple contracts, supporting a customer base that includes NASA civil servants, contractors, and external partners the supports NASA's missions. Serve as the subject matter expert and Lead for the agency under the Workplace Collaboration Service (WCS) service line for hybrid audio/video, end-user, collaboration, and industry technologies to create an integrated NASA experience. Serve as the subject matter expert and Lead for the agency under the Workplace Collaboration Service (WCS) service line providing technical advice and guidance for the Microsoft Office 365 ecosystem. Research systemic errors to respond to technical support requests. This would include an in-depth knowledge of the Microsoft O365 solution and the governance model surrounding any required / requested changes. Evaluate requirements and provides recommendations to update Microsoft Office 365 capabilities of the NASA tenant (SharePoint Online, Teams, etc.)

Qualifications

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. To qualify for GS-13, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level: Providing recommendations to team members and customers supporting the management of Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Power Platforms in the Office 365 environment; OR Providing recommendations to team members and customers supporting the management of conference room IT technology such as network connectivity, integration of team collaboration software, and video conferencing; and Providing technical advice and/or guidance for contracts related to Information Technology (IT) for an organization and/or office; and Working with a team of IT Specialists working across multiple disciplines organizationally and other workforce service lines such as (program offices, centers and mission areas). To qualify for GS-14, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level: Providing technical leadership and/or management to support Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Power Platforms in the Office 365 environment; OR Providing technical leadership and/or management for an organization's conference room IT technology (such as network connectivity, integration of team coloration software, and video conferencing); and Conducting technical management of contracts (i.e., contract performance, service level agreements, monitoring and reporting on project status and progress of work performed) for an IT organization and/or office; and Leading and motivating diverse teams of IT Specialists, or multiple stakeholders across an organization to achieve project objectives. AND IF you are qualifying based on experience, you MUST also have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below: Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
