You will serve as a Supervisory Security Specialist in the Naval Legal Service Command (CNLSC) of Office of the Judge Advocate General (OJAG)
Duties
You will serve as principal advisor to the Judge Advocate General (JAG) and Commander, Naval Legal Service Command (CNLSC), as Director of Security Programs.
You will plan, coordinate, and schedule all mission services world-wide in all matters concerning Operational/Physical Security, Anti-Terrorism (AT), Force Protection (FP) and Crime Prevention.
You will develop procedures and operational/physical measures designed to safeguard personnel, facilities, property, and operations from unauthorized access, espionage, terrorism, sabotage, damage and theft.
You will monitor and evaluate current and planned security projects and military justice events to ensure timely and quality service, conforming to statutory, contractual, and technical physical security requirements.
You will prepare written, oral, and graphical reports, briefs senior military, civilian managers and key advisors on results and recommends corrective actions for complex and/or comprehensive physical security problems across the organization.
You will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of the Office of the Judge Advocate General (OJAG)/Naval Legal Service Command (NLSC) Personnel Security Program.
You will oversee and implement the selection, orientation, organization and training of new members, and continued training and professional development of the staff.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing most or all of the following: 1) Managing security equities (e.g., strategic, personnel, infrastructure, policy enforcement, emergency planning, and other resources) for a program or other area of responsibility; 2) Developing, administering, and maintaining curricula and materials on the full range of security principles and practices; 3) Conducting assessments on threats and vulnerabilities, determine the level of risk, and develop and recommend appropriate mitigation countermeasures in operational and non-operational situations to protect against espionage, other intelligence activities, and sabotage conducted for or on behalf of foreign powers, organizations or persons, or international terrorist activities; 4) Evaluating internal and external security clearance requests and ensures applicant's actions are consistent with regulatory requirements; 5) Planning, coordinating, and scheduling mission services world-wide in all matters concerning Operational/Physical Security, Anti-Terrorism (AT), Force Protection (FP) and Crime Prevention; 6) Developing procedures and operational/physical measures designed to safeguard personnel, facilities, property, and operations from unauthorized access, espionage, terrorism, sabotage, damage and theft; and 7) Reviewing and evaluating reports of investigations, personnel files, and other records to determine whether to grant, deny, revoke, suspend or restrict security clearances consistent with national security and/or suitability issues.
