About the Position: This position is under the supervision of the Combat Service and Combat Services Support Readiness and Sustainment (R&S) Directorate. Duties
Develops logistic plans to assure integration of various logistic functions in support of assigned Army Watercraft Systems.
Assures the execution of plans with responsibility for the integration of all functions and a special emphasis in the areas of supply and maintenance programs and plans.
Identifies new program requirements and provides for the development of plans for integration with the current mission.
Provides management direction to ensure that separate programs are integrated, fully coordinated, and effectively implemented to attain desired goals.
Assesses system deployment plans to assure that distribution and support planning is substantive and accurate.
Develops programmatic logistics documentation, to include the Lifecycle Sustainment Plan, and supporting annexes.
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes developing Life Cycle Sustainment Plans or other programmatic documents that define product support strategy for assigned weapon systems; developing and managing integrated master schedules for logistics deliverables and events; and developing statements of work (SOW) or maintenance requirements; managing funding or resources needed for logistics activities. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
