You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the JOINT CREW SYSTEMS BRANCH of the EXPEDITIONARY EW SYSTEMS DIVISION in the SPECTRUM WARFARE SYSTEMS DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
This position is equivalent to the GS-13/14 level.
The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $128,043).
Duties
You will serve as the hardware Configuration Manager (CM) for Expeditionary Electronic Warfare systems.
You will the primary contact for the Program Office APM/DAPM for all the logistics and configuration management support for PMS-408 Counter Remote-Controlled Improvised Explosive Device (IED) Electronic Warfare (JCREW) program systems.
You will be responsible for the coordination and integration of numerous activities and functions into an overall efficient and effective support
effort for Expeditionary Electronic Warfare systems and services.
You will develop and implement configuration management plans, policies, and procedures, as well as overseeing the configuration management process.
You will coordinate with program managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely implementation of engineering changes.
You will develop and recommend Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) planning and supportability requirements.
You will prepare and review Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), technical drawings, establishing and maintaining Expeditionary Electronic Warfare systems baseline.
You will plan and lead all program office level physical configuration audits as well as chairs any local configuration control boards to address engineering change proposals.
You will plan maintenance and ensures all aspects of ILS and CM are planned/performed, and that interface issues are resolved for Expeditionary Electronic Warfare systems.
You will conduct configuration audits to ensure compliance with established procedures and identify opportunities for process improvements.
You will assure effective implementation, integration, and control of requirements, procedures, and documentation such as technical data packages, program plans, and contracts.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing and evaluating technical project requirements to plan and coordinate logistics and configuration management support to improve program operations.
