Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! Duties

Assist Management in the supervision, management, and administration of the beach complex recreational activity.  Assists in carrying out program projects, primarily in program planning, administrative duties, and annual budget. Makes reservations and collects fees.  Ensures that the arrival, departure, and any other guest contact experience are conducted in an efficient and friendly manner. Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy. Must be able to work well in stressful high pressure situations including ability to handle guest objections and disputes to satisfactory results. Remains calm and alert during emergency situations and heavy recreational lodging activity. Fully comprehends and executes all relevant phases of the front desk computer system. Reports any requirements for maintenance, cleaning and/or repair to the Manager as required.  Assumes operational duties in the absence of the Manager.

Qualifications

One year experience in hospitality or similar industry. Two years’ experience in customer service. Must have knowledge of computer operating systems to maintain efficient functioning of the operation.  Must have the ability to work independently.  Must be able to work irregular hours.  Must possess or have the ability to obtain CPR certification from the American Red Cross.  This is a mixed position where the incumbent must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance.
