You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the STRATEGIC SYSTEMS HARDWARE DIVISION (GXW), PROJECT MANAGEMENT BRANCH (GXWP) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $128,043).
Duties
You will be responsible for task planning including the decomposition of customer requirements into resourcing requirements, related cost and schedules, fact finding documentation, execution monitoring and reporting and delivery to the customer.
You will perform internal and external project planning document and maintenance, to include current year and out year estimates.
You will lead multi-disciplined team of engineers, logisticians, and technicians to ensure requirements decomposition.
You will participate in technical exchanges, program reviews, and other technical and programmatic meetings with Prime Contractors, program office leadership, and other government and industry organizations and customers.
You will work with resource managers to develop resource plans, as well as identifying resourcing issues/constraints to resolve problems.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a bargaining unit position.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: evaluating project planning to determine resource availability to develop and execute resolution plans in order to meet organizational goals.
