About the Position: This position is located with the U.S. Army Sustainment Command, Rock Island, IL. This position is being filled on a permanent basis. Please limit your resume to 5 pages. Duties

Performs logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, or evaluating the logistical actions required to support the SDT Program. Identifies specific requirements for financial, materiel, facilities, and service resources to support the SDT program. Analyzes proposed policy guidelines to assess business process reengineering impacts on operational logistics. Evaluates proposed operational transportation/ logistics policies and issues for SDT via Syncada and Third Party Payment System (TPPS). Analyzes the impact of technological advances and changing operational requirements for SDT. Reviews and interprets tasking guidance/requirements from higher echelons based on knowledge of the Army and AMC/ASC missions and functions.

Requirements

  • Position requires temporary duty (TDY) business travel approximately 20% of the time.
  • Position requires incumbent employee to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.

Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled such as: reviewing requirements for financial resources to provide support to the mission; monitoring the development of numerous support plans to identify delays; AND preparing responses to proposals pertaining to logistics operations for approval.
