This position is located in Smithsonian Institution’s Office of Smithsonian Facilities (SF), Office of Facilities Management and Reliability (OFMR).  The incumbent for this position serves under the general supervision of the Facilities Management.  The employee is responsible for providing a variety of administrative services for the Division or Zone.

Qualifications

GS:9 You qualify for this position if you have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-7 level in the Federal Service or comparable pay band system. For this position specialized experience is defined as providing administrative duties essential to the operation of a central office, administrative and financial oversight, tracking and overseeing budgets including the reconciliation of obligations and expenditures, and maintaining accountability records for funds control using automated systems. Or Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related to the position. Or a Combination: Education and experience may be combined to meet the basic qualifications. For a full explanation of this option please see the Qualification Standards. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.Part-time and/or unpaid experience related to this position will be considered to determine the total number of years and months of experience.
