About the Position: You will service as a senior supply technician responsible for managing assigned classes of material, and provide guidance/training to new or lower graded employees. This position is located at Fort Huachuca, AZ.

Duties

Plans materiel requirements, considering usage and demand patterns, pipeline time, delivery schedules, fund limitations, procurement lead time, and new item requirements. Requisitions materiel for stock and to satisfy customer requests, considering substitute/interchangeable items and the use of excess materiel to fill requirements. Performs off-line management of cross-service and special handling type items. Performs off-line management of cross-service and special handling type items. Reviews stock status, inquiries and listings to determine stock position, status of requisitions, changes to requirements, materiel in litigation or warehouse denial, customer owned, or standby/mission essential. Maintains liaison with customers, sources of supply and critical items monitors to resolve problems and to, expedite materiel. Works closely with maintenance parts managers in planning and developing maintenance requirements to assure timely and adequate support. Processes requests for supply issue on an exception type basis
