Program Support Assistant will serve in Home Based Primary Care (HBPC) under Geriatrics and Extended Care Service (GEC). Primary duties consist of managing the complex day to day administrative operations of the HBPC program which consists of 12 PACT teams covering 6 counties (Lake, Osceola, Seminole, Brevard, Volusia, and Orange), Coordinated Transitional Care (C-Trac), and the Home Transitional Care (HTC) program.
Duties
Program Support Assistant will serve as administrative support for the Home Based Primary Care.Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Drafting up memo's, action item's, congressional memorandums, committee support (minutes, agendas, and reports) according to medical center and service guidelines.
Assisting with Human Resource processes, to include coordinating interviews, gathering scores and creating packets to submit to HR for recruitment.
Coordinating the on-boarding and orientation with all new employees to the section/program.
Assisting management of various SharePoint processes by updating, creating forms/lists, data tracking, implementation of new processes.
Maintaining calendars, action trackers and assisting to troubleshoot workflows for established and new processes.
Submitting requests, track, and follow up on Maximo request to ensure FMS completes work orders in a timely manner.
Processing work orders.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 08/01/2023.
Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
For a GS-06 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-05.
The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade.
Note: Time-In-Grade requirements also apply to former Federal employees applying for reinstatement as well as current employees applying for Veterans Employment Opportunities Act of 1998 (VEOA) appointment.
You may qualify based on your experience as described below:
Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-05 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to: administratively managing the complex day to day operations of a program or service; advanced use and application of computer software packages such as Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word; composition of reports, audits, memos, action items, agendas, and meeting minutes; tracking, ordering, and distribution of supplies and equipment; assisting with orientation of new employees to include preparation of training materials; scheduling of training rotations; assuring orientation documents are completed and in employee's competency folders; and tracking and monitoring of Performance Improvement activities.

Physical Requirements: The work is primarily sedentary, although physical effort is also required in this position. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there is walking long distances while pushing supply carts/dollies. Also standing, bending, and carrying/lifting/loading/unloading of items up to 25 pounds such as equipment and supplies, is required in this position. Ability to safely drive government vehicle when needed (multiple types such as a mini-van, compact car, or sedan) for up to 2 hours one way and then back. May require bringing government vehicles into local repair shops for maintenance, and to gas station to fuel up.
