About the Position: This position is located with Department of Defense Education Activity, Americas Southeast District, Ellis D. Parker, Elementary School at Fort Novosel, Alabama. Salary is based on a full-time 40 hour work week.

Duties

Assemble students in designated areas to maintain order. Encourage safety by demonstrating basic safety procedures. Inform the school principal regarding disciplinary problems. Provide direction in regard to established hallway or lunchroom procedures. Deal with student misbehavior and discipline issues. Assist students with proper lunchroom cleanup procedures. Provide on the job training in accordance with applicable local guidance. Develop and maintains shift schedules.

Requirements

• Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Requirement.

OR Education: One year of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 6. Then divide your semester hours of education by 30. Add the two percentages. Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) positions within the last 52 weeks may not be promoted more than 2 grades within the preceding 52 weeks.
