This position is part of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency. The incumbent will be responsible for serving as a management and program analyst with responsibility for managing the International Security Cooperation Programs (ISCP) Account.
Duties
As a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST at the GS-0343-13 level, some of your typical work assignments may include:
Serving as a management and program analyst with responsibility for managing the International Security Cooperation Programs (ISCP) Account;
Preparing Congressional notifications and inquiries, and evaluating operations for effectiveness and efficiency.
Resolving problems that include a wide range of variables affecting program effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity while managing risk to the NDSI Account.
Making recommendations for program changes that ensure that available resources are utilized in a manner that best supports the priorities of the Secretary of Defense (SECDEF).
Conducting research and performs major program evaluations affecting the development of long-range program plans or resolves issues affecting principle program objectives.

one year and Intermediate-level courses within two years (3 years total).
Qualifications
You may qualify at the GS-13 level, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service:
Justifying and evaluating funding allocations for various Security Cooperation (SC) programs and activities;
Analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of program and budget operations in meeting established goals and objectives;
Developing data by performing cost benefit and similar analyses of current or planned SC programs.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
