This position is located in the Office of Equal Employment Opportunity, Arlington, VA.
The selectee of this position serves as an Equal Employment Manager. You will be responsible for one or more special employment programs (e.g. Federal Women's Program, Asian Employment Program, Black Affairs Program etc.), developing program goals, and providing EEO advice to management.
Duties
As a Equal Employment Manager at the GS-0260-13 level, some of your typical work assignments may include:
Providing advice to management in developing and carrying out effective EEO program action plans.
Conducting training for management concerning their responsibilities in the implementation of EEO programs.
Applying qualitative and quantitative analytical methods to develop, assess, implement, and advise on assigned programs to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
Identifying deficiencies and recommending practical solutions to achieve intended program goals.

Qualifications
GS-13 TIME IN GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-12 grade level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-13 grade level. (Must submit your SF-50 that shows Time-in-Grade eligibility and reflects your title, series, and grade. No award SF-50 will be accepted).
You may qualify at the GS-0260-13 level, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
At least one year (12-months) of full-time specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service that demonstrates your experience in: 1.) Advising management in developing and carrying out effective affirmative action plans; 2.) Identifying barriers to equal employment opportunity and recommending changes in management policies and practices to eliminate barriers; 3.) Conducting studies and surveys to identify and analyze EEO barriers; 4.) Making recommendations on how to eliminate the underlying causes of equal employment problems. 5.) Advising management on solutions for individual and systemic equal employment problems (Must be reflected in resume.)
