You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Distribution and Repository Branch Technical Data and Repository Division, Commander, Fleet Readiness Center, NATEC Tech Data Department NV AIR TECHNICAL DATA AND ENGRG SVC. Duty Station: San Diego, CA

Duties

You will brief management of logistical problems associated with technical manual or data management. You will coordinate technical and product data for the functions of sustainment. You will document contractual requirements to maintain records for processing supply management actions

• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-07) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: quivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1. Accountable for distribution of technical manuals and directives to both internal and external (to NATEC) customers; for research, scanning, bookmarking and posting of technical manuals and directives for the NATEC web site. 2. Serving as a distribution coordinator for NAVAIR technical manuals, and maintains information in the Technical Manual Applications System (TMAPS), Navy Logistics Library (NLL) and the Automatic Distribution Requirements Listing (ADRL) or similar systems. 3. Familiarity of NAVAIR and Navy policies/procedures for logistics support of weapons systems in general and technical documentation in particular, to provide technical input, customer support, planning and implementation of technical manual distribution.
