Duties
Position supports the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Information Operations (J6) Enterprise Software and
Mobility Services Branch (J64/ CBA)
Provides Tier 3 support for DLA?s User-Experience and Enterprise Endpoint Management infrastructure which
includes Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM),
(continued) Microsoft Group Policy Management Console, 1E Nomad, Dell Wyse Management Suite (WMS), SOTI Mobi-Control, TANIUM, Honeywell VoControl, VMWare
WorkspaceOne, and Menlo-Security Isolation Console.
Delivers Tier 3 end-user and infrastructure support for DLA?s global enterprise for DLA Traditional -and- Mobile end-user endpoints, collaborative communication solutions, warehousing mobile-computing technologies,
(continued) vulnerability management: DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), as well as DLA desktop standardization and IT controls
(continued) for both the Non-classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNet) and theSecret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet).
Responsible for the design, implementation, standardization, upgrade, and sustainment of the DLA endpoints,
their management system architecture as well as DISA STIG compliance.
Performs research, testing, hardening, deployment and sustainment of DLA?s enterprise mobile device
management infrastructure, cross platform support and mobile application services.
Participates in planning, design, and evaluating the results of feasibility and performance studies and
environmental tests of next generation products and services being considered for enterprise implementation.
Responsible for utilization and administration of performance and monitoring solutions designed to optimize use
of infrastructure resources and ensure continuity within the DLA end-user computing environment and optimize
the user-experience.

Qualifications
To qualify for an IT Specialist (SYSADMIN/INFOSEC), your resume and supporting documentation must support:
A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-12level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
PowerShell -or- Batch script development, testing, scheduling, or coordination associated with software distribution and standardized computing environment or mobile device configurations.
Establishing and maintaining centralized vulnerability management and DoD Information System Configuration capabilities, to include creation and enforcement of standard desktop, IT infrastructure, or mobile device configuration policies through enterprise wide device-level policies.
Examples include applying DISA Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG) or remediation of USCYBERCOM Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) alerts or bulletins.
Applying Microsoft operating system principles (e.g. Windows 10, Windows 11, Server 2016, Server 2019 etc?);managing Microsoft Active Directory capabilities; managing enterprise Instant Messaging services (e.g. Skype for Business, TEAMS, Lync, etc..); managing enterprise endpoint configuration solutions (e.g. SCCM, TANIUM,InTune, Defender etc?); managing mobile device management systems (e.g. Good Mobile, Workspace One,Airwatch, MobileIron etc...).
Knowledge of Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) and Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) system and application software and experience managing enterprise-wide IT Service Management capabilities such as REMEDY or ServiceNow.

B. Education: Applicants may not qualify for this position based on education in lieu of specialized experience.
