Duties

Serves as the primary intermediary between the customers and the development team throughout a project?s lifecycle, with focus on the ERP business problems to be solved and business value to be realized by the project to ensure.... .... planning, budgeting, and implementation schedules are met. Responsible for the analysis of various complex Automated Information System (AIS) logistics business processes, develops and reviews solution alternatives, and performs impact analysis with customers and system users for fixes, .... .... enhancements, and other changes. Evaluates customer desired changes and explores Business Process Reengineering (BPR) opportunities, focusing on the analysis and design of agile project oversight to include the analysis of workflows and business .... .... processes within the J62E organization. Analyzes operational problems, develops solutions, and takes corrective action as appropriate to ensure continued AIS operation. The incumbent works in coordination with Project Managers and various IT professionals to validate analysis results, workflow processes, and review system design, code, and test cases ensuring system and business conformity, .... .... proper documentation, and adherence to all applicable program, system, and request requirements. Serves as a motivator and advisor to the assigned Agile project teams, responsible for progressive development by continually educating the team on Agile processes, continuous flows and improvement by establishing a high-performing team dynamic.

Qualifications

To qualify for an IT Specialist (SYSANALYSIS), your qualifications must include: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in- grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Applying knowledge of advanced IT principles, concepts, methods, standards, and practices that are required to provide advisory services regarding project-based new AIS requests and/or recommending revisions to existing or planned system applications. Exhibiting the mastery of systems analysis principles and techniques, to include the understanding of and ability to advise in the develop of procedural instructions for the implementation and operation of new/revised systems, testing new and revised systems and technologies, applications and processes, and to resolve critical problems in existing systems or define advanced system requirements for new projects. Ensuring that applications, interfaces, extensions, forms, and reports comply with regulatory requirements governing IT security and current business processes and are consistent with the current and planned infrastructure and data environments.
