You will serve as a Management Analyst in the Ordnance Operations and Logistics Department of NMCPAC EAST ASIA DIVISION.

Duties

You will be responsible for ordnance load planning. You will monitor ordnance systems and programs, perform reviews, and recommend actions following established criteria, methods, techniques, and procedures. You will conduct studies involving interpretation of policy and develop procedures to ensure standards are in compliance. You will develop plans, goals, objectives, and evaluation criteria for the long-range implementation and administration of programs. You will apply a wide range of ammunition management concepts, laws, regulations, policies and procedures to perform assignments. You will develop performance measurement indicators and metrics to measure performance of assigned load plan objectives.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States drivers license.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
  • This position may require pulling, pushing, lifting and carrying items weighing up to 40 pounds.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: using analytical techniques and procedures to evaluate systems or programs, identify issues, and recommend solutions for the improvement of ordnance operations efficiency.
