You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the AIR SYSTEMS GROUP, TECHNICAL DATA DIVISION, LOGISTICS CUSTOMER SERVICE BRANCH (AB32200) of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
The duty station for this position will be Patuxent River, Maryland.
Duties
You will oversee logistical needs within a program (e.g., force maintenance programs, surface craft, maintenance and material) for an organization.
You will manage logistics program budget requirements to meet program objectives.
You will write logistical data report to defend and support concepts or projects.
You will brief management or logistics teams of the planning, developmental, or implementation stages of major logistics programs.
You will present logistics technical information to audiences with varying levels of authority.
You will coordinate technical and product data for the functions of sustainment.
You will contribute to competency training development projects regarding configuration management logistics elements.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Reviewing and Analyzing Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), NAVAIR Change Control Board (CCB) submissions and Technical Directive (TD) documents submitted for logistics certification of adherence to policy and best practices;
2) Demonstrating a thorough understanding of customer support help desk procedures for ECPs, CCBs and TDs;
3) Performing data analysis to maintain process metrics for ECP, TD, and CCB logistics performance in Command authorized/approved processes;
4) Utilizing the "TEC Translator" and the Business Identification Number Cross-reference System (BINCS);
5) Applying type Equipment Codes (TEC) and CAGE Codes in relation to the ECM tool application; and
6) Converting raw data information formats that are suitable for presentation to higher level higher-level authority.
