You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the LABOR ANALYSIS (FM23) Division of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.
Duties
You will be responsible for interpreting financial policies and procedures and making business process recommendations for effective operations within the Navy ERP as well as with external interfaces.
You will collaborate with staff to contribute to current and future design, implementation, and documentation of data, metadata, and overall systems data architecture.
You will develop, manage, and execute data mapping and conversions for imports of master and historical data.
You will perform analysis on errors between different systems and briefing leadership on recommendations.
You will assist with SLDCADA and DCPS maintenance throughout the fiscal year.

- This is a Financial Management Level I certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing financial management analysis by applying established financial analysis principles, concepts and practices; 2) Utilizing integrated federal management systems and sub-systems to extract data, identify and resolve system problems, and maintain data integrity; 3) Manage team tasks, Monitoring and reviewing progress; and report on work progress through all stages of completeness; 4) Analyzing various lines of accounting. Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related to position being filled
