You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST (AIRFIELD SERVICES) of COMMANDER - NAVAL INSTALLATIONS.
Duties
You will supervise the preparation of analytical or external reports that depict the status of resources and operational data.
You will negotiate recommendations involving resources or changes to projects or programs.
You will create spreadsheets, graphs or charts to report data trends to senior leaders.
You will lead studies to resolve obstacles to effectiveness.
You will synthesize results and lessons learned from an operational advisory group into reports for distribution.
You will develop oral presentations that explain findings resulting from management or program analysis.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Serves as subject matter expert administering the Airfield Services (Aircraft Launch & Recovery Equipment - ALRE, Visual Landing Aids - VLA, Transient Line aircraft movement); 2) Serves as the lead evaluator and program manager for command staff for the Airfield Services sub-function during Airfield NATOPS evaluations; 3) Represents the command as the liaison in support of arresting gear sustainment and life cycle maintenance; 4) Drafts Airfield Services policy to administer policies and procedures for arresting gear personnel qualification Quality Assurance standards; 5) Develops flag-level correspondence, to include point papers, action memoranda, executive summaries, briefings, policy statements; etc. as required; and 6) Conducts site visits and inspections of arresting gear and visual landing aids at airfields.
