The primary purpose of this position is to to serve as the 616th Operations Center (OC) Unit Readiness and Deployment Manager. Responsible for ensuring assigned personnel are qualified and ready to meet Air Expeditionary Force Requirements in support of one of the Air Force's core competencies--Agile Combat Employment.
Duties
Duty 1: Plans, organizes, and oversees 616 OC unit level deployment activities. Routinely coordinates and communicates directly with counterpart focal points at the NAF, MAJCOM (ACC), and joint Combatant Command (USCYBERCOM) level to manage the Unit Deployment program for all deployment related documents for applicable equipment andpersonnel taskings and identifies total deployment requirements for the OC.
Duty 2: Manages and conducts readiness analysis activities. Establishes and maintains metric and system analysis systems for 616 OC and subordinate unit, management to assess the efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with regulatory procedures. Reviews data to determine deficiencies, if any, and directs or performs appropriate corrective actions.
Duty 3: Provides technical guidance and recommendations to the commander and leadership regarding unit deployment program. Advises in writing, briefings and formal reporting, the 616 OC Commander on the direction, management, and operation of all aspects of unit deployment capabilities. Interprets and applies Joint, Air Force, MAJCOM, or Air Force Component operational/exercise planning and execution policies..
Duty 4: Ensures personnel and equipment readiness. Ensures the unit is ready to meet wartime and peacetime mobility taskings by scheduling and tracking unit deployment training. Ensures authorized deployment equipment and supplies are maintained in a constant state of readiness. Coordinates all readiness training and monitors unit member's deployment eligibility with the assistance from additional duty unit deployment managers, as appropriate.

- Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Special Sensitive security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
- PCS expenses will NOT be paid IAW JTR and Air Force Regulations
- Must be registered for Selective Service, see Legal and Regulatory Guide
- Position is subject to initial and random drug testing.
- Employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, to include evenings, weekends and/or holidays
- Shift work and emergency overtime may be required

Qualifications
This is a GG-11 position in the Cyber Excepted Service (CES). The GG-11 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-11 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the 11 grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include managing deployment and mobility programs, ensuring personnel readiness, monitoring deployment eligiblity, and maitain reporting systems.. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge of methods, procedures, and skills in evaluating and performing deployment operations to identify and meet deployment requirements.
Knowledge of a wide range of Federal and agency deployment mobilization concepts, principles, practices, procedures, regulations, and laws applicable to the full range of UDM management responsibilities. Ability to interpret Air Force, joint, and Department of Defense (DoD), directives, instructions, and guidance.
Knowledge of established safety and occupational health principles, practices, procedures, laws, and regulations related to the safety program, risk assessment methods, and techniques for evaluating occupational safety and health risks. Ability to gather, develop and analyze a variety of data to make recommendations based on analysis.
Knowledge of Federal planning policy and guidance to include publications applicable to the functional area. Skill in the use of automation software and related equipment.
Ability to identify, analyze, and translate complex information, make appropriate judgements, and evaluate options concerning unit readiness. Skill in conducting interviews and delivery of formal and informal presentations and briefings.
Ability to recognize the inter-relationship of various aspects of operating programs to integrate and analyze information to evaluate overall program status. Knowledge of Unit Deployment Manager programs, principles, and policies.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
