Duties
You will provides day to day assistance as the Automated Information Systems Manager to the N6 Department Head by functioning as the technical Subject Matter Expert (SME).
You will determine appropriate products or services with clients or customers to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
You will develop, modify, or provide input to project plans; implement project plans to meet objectives; coordinate and integrate project activities.
You will manage, or administer project resources; monitor project activities and resources to mitigate risk; implement or maintain quality assurance processes.
You will provide annual network design review and modernization suggestions for budgetary and man hour requirements to N6 Department Head for planning purposes.
You will serve as Project Manager for complex enterprise systems associated with data center to include emergency power systems, fiber optic media, and high performance network routing equipment.

- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 802 within 12 months of appointment.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: certify confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all Information Systems (IS) and IT systems connected to the LAN and WAN networks; AND recommends changes to network security architecture; AND utilize business systems for planning implementation methods to develop new processes and support projects.
Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
