Duties
You will manage and oversee the organization, maintenance, use, and disposition of records at Navy IPO following records management statutes, regulations, and
policies. Ensures records are properly preserved and retrievable.
You will conduct record inventories, develop taxonomies and file plans, and provide guidance on records management to staff.
You will oversee transfers of permanent records to Federal Records Center and National Archives and ensure records schedules are current.
You will serve as point of contact for training requests and GPC purchase card holder, i.e. reviews electronic SF-182 requests and maintains payment records.
You will manage and oversee the tracking, producing, and presenting of all Civilian Awards, for monthly award presentations, and retirements.
Requirements

- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This is a Non-Key Security Cooperation Workforce (SCW) position and requires a DoD SCW Certification. Selectee must obtain and maintain certification within prescribed timeframes. SCW level required: Level 1
- Incumbent must complete DoD SCW Basic-level certification courses within one year and 40 hours of continuing education (CUE) every
two years.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience with Department of Navy (DoN) policies, procedures, standards for workflow and administrative actions.
Experience scheduling, requirements analysis, risk management and researching policies and regulations.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
