Duties
You will exercise leadership and managerial authority concerning the Navy Nuclear Deterrence Mission (NNDM) under the Director, Naval Nuclear Weapons Program, OPNAV.
You will serve as the Program Manager for the end-to-end assessment of the NNDM, coordinates and leads efforts to assess the effectiveness of corrective action, and provide status reports regarding changes to readiness.
You will coordinate and implement formal guidance related to assessing and reporting the personnel and material readiness for Nuclear Weapons (NW) and NW systems.
You will serve as NNDM Regulatory Lead's liaison between the NNDM Secretariat, OPNAV Echelon I and Echelon II component.
You will coordinate input regarding issues that affect the Navy's nuclear deterrence mission in order to identify trends and potential impacts.
You will prepare reports and presentations for DIRSSP as the NNDM Regulatory Lead to provide to the Chief of Naval Operations and/or the Navy Nuclear Deterrence Mission Oversight Council (NNDMOC).
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-3 (GS-13 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying program evaluation methods and a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods for determining program effectiveness and opportunities for performance improvement.
