Duties
You will plan, implement, and administer the Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Security ensuring SCI security programs comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
You will implement policies, instructions, procedures, control systems, and methods to prevent the loss and/or compromise of classified information or material in sensitive compartmented information and special access programs (SAP).
You will ensure Program or Competency facility, and controlled area access is managed by the need-to-know principle.
You will ensure that all employees, contractors, patrons, and vendors who do not require routine access to facilities, controlled areas, and/or IT systems are escorted.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
Qualifications
DA-04
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DA-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to some or all of the following: 1) Initiating and administering sensitive projects, testing and security operations; 2) Working with Automated Information Systems (AIS) security equipment, programs, alarm systems, entry control systems and intrusion detection systems; 3) Instructing the proper safeguarding, handling, storage, transmission, and destruction of classified information, controlled unclassified information (CUI) and sensitive material, as well as security classification, declassification, and marking principles.
DA-03
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DA-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to some or all of the following: 1) Applying security concepts, principles and practices to review, analyze and resolve difficult and complex security problems; 2) Applying knowledge of Department of Defense Information and Personnel Security program regulations and Physical Security manuals; 3) Assisting with planning, implementing and administering the Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Security ensuring SCI security programs comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

LL.M., if related

master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
